Water-based essential-oil humidifier or waterless diffuser?

A product photo alone does not tell a buyer whether a device uses water, diluted fragrance or pure oil. That detail changes the atomizing parts, cleaning instructions, fragrance performance, safety review and shipping documents.

The W301 is a water-based aroma humidifier

The W301 has a 260 ml water tank. It is designed to work with water and a compatible essential oil, following the approved instructions. It should not be described as a pure-oil nebulizer, and undiluted oil should not be added unless the final instructions specifically allow it.

The current specification lists 5V/1A input, 2–3W rated power, Type-C connection and a 40 ml/hour mist output. The unit can run on a four-hour continuous setting or an eight-hour intermittent setting.

A waterless diffuser is a different product

A waterless unit feeds oil or fragrance material directly into a nebulizing system. It normally uses a smaller liquid container and may be quoted by oil-bottle fit, diffusion coverage, consumption rate and pump settings. Those figures cannot be copied from a water-based humidifier specification.

A clap-controlled fragrance sprayer is another control route

A sound-responsive electronic sprayer may use timed spray intervals and a clap-triggered rhythm mode. That describes the control logic, not the liquid system. The fragrance compatibility, reservoir capacity, power specification and cleaning instructions still need to be confirmed for the selected device.

Questions to settle before quotation

• Does the device use water, diluted fragrance or pure oil?
• Which oil types are compatible with the wick and atomizing structure?
• What dose and cleaning method will appear in the instructions?
• Is the model plug-in or rechargeable?
• What voltage, connector, battery and control mode are required?
• Which color, logo, retail box and instruction language are needed?
• Which market documents must match the exact model and power version?

Do not quote certificates by name alone

A supplier sheet may list CE, FCC, RoHS or an inspection report. Ask for the document number, applicant, tested model and scope. A document for one version does not automatically cover every battery, adapter, packaging change or destination market.

Use the sample to confirm the operating instructions

During sample review, check mist output, timing mode, leakage, noise, Type-C connection, water-tank closure, cleaning and the proposed essential-oil instructions. The retail box and manual should describe the same use that was tested on the sample.
