Four questions to settle before we confirm a delivered price

How many cartons fit in one container?

We calculate this after the product packing is confirmed. The useful inputs are:

• export carton length, width and height;
• units per carton and gross weight;
• container type and weight limit;
• whether one SKU or mixed products will be loaded;
• usable loading space and the final stacking plan.

Dividing container volume by carton volume gives only a rough theoretical number. The confirmed answer comes from the loading plan, including space loss and weight limits.

Can a smaller order use its own packaging?

Often yes, but the right route depends on how much of the packaging needs to change.

• Existing packaging with a label, sleeve or hangtag: usually the simplest route when suitable stock components are available.
• Custom printed box: needs artwork, print setup, sample approval and a packaging MOQ.
• New box structure or insert: needs structural development, tooling and a separate quantity review.

We quote the packaging route separately so a buyer can see whether a full custom box makes sense for the first order.

Does the quotation include door-to-door shipping?

Only when the quotation says so. EXW, FOB and CIF are not complete door-to-door terms. DAP or DDP may cover delivery to the stated address, but the exact scope still needs to be written into the quote.

For a delivered quotation, we identify the product cost, international freight, customs-clearance service, duties or taxes where applicable, and final-mile delivery. The destination address and postal code are required.

Can a fragrance liquid or filled diffuser sample go by air?

Not every air channel accepts fragrance liquids. The decision depends on the SDS or MSDS, flash point and transport classification, the packaging, destination and the carrier’s approval.

For one current electronic aroma diffuser sample project, the available air channel cannot accept the filled fragrance liquid. The working option is approximately 25 days door to door by sea. That timing belongs to that route and project; it is not a general delivery promise.

If the buyer needs to check the device sooner, we can also review whether a dry device can go by air while the liquid travels separately by an accepted route. Final acceptance remains subject to the forwarder and carrier.

What to send for a usable freight calculation

• product and quantity per SKU;
• confirmed packaging route;
• carton dimensions, carton count and gross weight when available;
• full delivery address and postal code;
• requested trade term: EXW, FOB, CIF, DAP or DDP;
• required arrival date;
• for liquids, available SDS or MSDS and product transport information.

If a detail is still open, we mark it as pending instead of building it into the price without explanation.
