The short answer
What can be customized from 200 pieces?
A suitable existing-product private label route may start from 200 pieces when the jar or bottle, closure and basic packaging are already available. For a first order, a professionally produced label is often the most practical way to add the buyer's brand without forcing the project into a much higher component quantity.
The 200-piece starting point is not a blanket promise for every printing method. Direct glass printing, a new colored vessel, a fully printed box, a structural insert or a custom mold may each have a separate supplier MOQ.
A useful first question is not only “Can you add my logo?” It is “Which logo method fits this product and this quantity?”
Branding routes
Four common ways to apply a buyer's brand
| Route | Where it works | What changes the MOQ |
|---|
| Custom label | Existing candle jars, diffuser bottles, lids and stock boxes | Label material, size, finish, quantity and application method |
| Transfer or direct printing | Compatible glass, metal or other approved surfaces | Surface shape, ink colors, setup, curing and component supplier minimum |
| Branded retail packaging | Boxes, sleeves, inserts, hangtags and warning cards | Box structure, paper, foil, embossing, print quantity and tooling |
| Logo in a mold | Selected shaped candles or purpose-made components | 3D model, mold construction, trial result and ownership terms |
Artwork
What logo information should the buyer send?
- a vector logo in AI, PDF or SVG format when available;
- the exact brand spelling and any registered-symbol requirement;
- Pantone, CMYK or other approved color reference;
- preferred logo size and position;
- product image or selected SKU;
- quantity for each product and fragrance;
- whether the logo is needed on the product, the box or both.
A high-resolution PNG is useful for an initial layout, but the final printer may still request a vector file. We do not redraw a trademark or change its proportions without buyer approval.
Approval
What should be checked before production?
The artwork proof should show the exact spelling, size, color, position and orientation. A physical sample is recommended when the surface, printing process, foil, embossing, label material or box has not been approved before.
Bulk production follows the approved artwork and sample. A screen image alone cannot show adhesion, metallic finish, surface texture or how a label sits on a curved bottle.
Pricing
Why is logo cost not one fixed amount?
The quotation may contain separate lines for artwork preparation, label or printing, tooling, packaging, sample work and product application. A one-color logo on an existing label is different from multiple-color direct printing or a new embossed gift box.
We separate these items so the buyer can compare a lower-MOQ private label route with a fuller custom route instead of receiving one unexplained total.
