Quality & Compliance

Explore hotel-style fragrance development, vessel finishes and existing-container sampling.

The details behind your finished fragrance product.

At Lumen Narrate, private label development connects the fragrance, vessel, wick or closure, and packaging. A sample gives your team something concrete to review; product documents help establish which requirements apply to that particular formula and destination.

Development at the source

Our own manufacturing base in Zhejiang

Lumen Narrate works from our own factory, Zhejiang Future Fragrance Technology Co., Ltd. (浙江芬创香氛科技有限公司), in Zhejiang, China. Our private label work covers scented candles, reed diffusers, room sprays and coordinated home fragrance collections.

The photographs here show our sample workspace and a candle sample during burning. They give buyers a closer look at the development environment behind the collection.

Candle sample review

Review the wax, wick and vessel together

A change in vessel size, wax blend or fragrance can affect the way a candle burns. The sample review needs to follow the selected combination.

Before approving the sample, agree which observations will be recorded: flame behavior, melt-pool development, visible soot, vessel temperature, fragrance performance and behavior through the burn cycle.

A photograph can show the flame and wax at a particular moment. Burn duration, temperature and acceptance results need the corresponding test record.

Read our candle sampling guide for the approval steps.

Product-specific evidence

Safety data and sea transport documentation

The documents below are available for the identified materials or submitted samples. For your order, we review the product reference, formula, destination and shipping method before confirming which documents apply.

Candle safety data sheet

A candle SDS prepared by Shanghai JUZT Testing Technology Co., Ltd. is dated 6 July 2026, reference SHJUZT208626070606. It identifies Zhejiang Future Fragrance Technology Co., Ltd. as the manufacturer.

The composition section lists 100% soy wax. Its scope must therefore be checked against the actual finished candle formula, including any added fragrance or other ingredients.

Candle sea transport assessment

Report 202600658599363, dated 6 July 2026 and issued by 上海化工院检测有限公司, concludes that the submitted candle sample is not subject to the IMO IMDG Code.

This is a sea transport conclusion for the assessed sample. A different formulation or transport mode requires its own review.

Reed diffuser sample sea transport assessment

Report 202601675831751, dated 1 June 2026 and issued by 上海化工院检测有限公司, identifies the sample as 香薰zjfc001 / Aromatherapy. It concludes that this sample is not subject to the IMO IMDG Code.

The report applies to that submitted sample; it does not establish the transport classification of every diffuser or fragrance concentrate.

Fragrance ingredient safety data

Supplier SDS files are held for selected fragrance references. These describe the concentrated ingredient and its handling requirements. Finished candles, diffusers and sprays need a review of their own composition and intended use.

Tell us the fragrance and product format you are considering so we can check the relevant documentation with you.

An SDS provides safety information. A transport assessment addresses a defined shipping classification. Neither document alone is a factory certification or a complete approval for every destination market.

Before production

Make the quality requirements part of the brief

Diffusers, sprays and closures

Specify the bottle, liquid formula, stopper or pump, fill volume and intended transport route. Agree the leakage, closure-fit and performance checks needed for your product before sample approval.

Packaging and delivery

Confirm the vessel, insert, retail box and export carton together. If a retailer or delivery channel requires a particular packaging test, include the protocol and acceptance criteria in the brief.

Review packaging and shipping options

Keep the approved sample, artwork version, product specification and agreed checks together. Changes to the formula, components or packaging should be reviewed before the next production run.
